The CSS Albermarle was sank this date in 1864, during the Civil War, by Delafield’s own William B. Cushing.

    THAT was a fascinating article, and I need to get my hands on that book now. I have a pretty good-sized shelf of civil war and independence war books, and that one sounds too good to miss.
